IMPORTANT INFORMATION

***Just remember there are many IRS phone scams going around out there..... DO NOT ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS!! No matter how real it may sound, some of these scams are very sophisticated and may lead you to beleive it is the IRS.

The IRS will not call you to collect any money unless you are already dealing with a particular agent on a specific issue so JUST HANG UP ON THEM!!

THE OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 1ST ....AFTER SEPTEMBER 1ST TO THE END OF YEAR IT WILL BE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE IF YOU HAVE AN URGENT MATTER AS MESSAGES ARE RETRIEVED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE AND SOMEONE WILL RESPOND.

STIMULUS CHECKS

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US IN REGRADS TO STIMULUS CHECKS.....SEE BELOW!!

NEW UPDATE:

8/1/20 - THE IRS HAS STILL BEEN ISSUING CHECKS...THEY ARE BASED ON INCOME AND THE FINAL CHECKS WILL BE GOING OUT ON 9/11/20...... THEY ARE ALSO ISSUING DEBIT CARDS IN LIEU OF CHECKS SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.  AS YOU CAN SEE THIS HAS BEEN A LENGTHY PROCESS SO AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT ASK WHEN YOURS IS SCHEDULED BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW.

8/1/20 - A SECOND STIMULUS PACKAGE HAS NOT BEEN VOTED ON YET  SO PLEASE DO NOT CALL WITH QUESTIONS ON THAT... AS SOON AS IT IS VOTED ON AND PASSED I WILL UPDATE THIS SITE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!!

AS OF NOW IT IS LOOKING MORE LIKELY THAT IT WILL BE FOR THE SAME AMOUNT AND POSSIBLY ADD THE $500 ADDITIONAL FOR ANY DEPENDENT NOT JUST THOSE UNDER THE AGE OF 17 BUT STAY TUNED.

THERE IS ALSO TALK OF EXTENDING THE FEDERAL UNEMPLOYMENT ADDITION BUT INSTEAD OF THE $600 THERE'S A CHANCE IT WILL BE REDUCED (I HAVE HEARD POSSIBLY AS LOW AS $200) BUT THINGS CHANGE BY THE MINUTE IN CONGRESS.

ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATENCE AND UNDERSTANING THAT WHAT I HAVE ON HERE IS ALL I KNOW. JUST LIKE YOU I DO NOT HAVE ANY SPECIAL INSIGHT THAT WE ARE GIVEN. I HAVE TO FIND OUT THE SAME WAY THE REST OF THE COUNTRY HAS TO VIA THE MEDIA AND AM JUST RELAYING THAT INFORMATION TO YOU. I DO NOT HAVE A SPECIAL NUMBER TO CALL AND I CANNOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE RETURNS OR ADD ADDRESSES OR BANK ACCOUNTS.

IF THE AMOUNT YOU RECEIVE IS INCORRECT.....PLEASE DO NOT CALL US.... YOU WILL RECEIVE A LETTER IN APPROXIMATELY 2 TO 3 WEEKS CONFIRMING THE REFUND AMOUNT AND I ASSUME WILL HAVE A NUMBER TO CALL WHICH YOU WILL HAVE TO DO BECAUSE IT IS MOST LIKELY DUE TO EITHER SOME ERROR ON THIER PART OR IN CASE OF A NEW DEPENDENT OR DECEASED PERSON THE IRS SYSTEMS DID NOT CATCH UP TO CURRENT CONDITIONS AND THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT (IN CASE OF A MISSED DEPENDENT) WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO BE APPLIED TO NEXT YEARS TAX RETURN OR IN CASE OF RECEIVING TO MUCH DUE TO A DECEASED PERSON THEY WILL NOT BE ASKING FOR THAT BACK..... IN ANY CASE IF YOU WERE SHORTED OR DID NOT QUALIFY THIS YEAR YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET IT WITH THE FILING OF NEXT YEARS RETURN.

THE WEBSITE TO CHECK ON UPDATES AND STATUS IS  WWW.IRS.GOV/CORONAVIRUS.

1) THE CHECKS ARE NOT TAXABLE

2) THEY WILL ONLY KEEP THE CHECK FOR BACK CHILD  SUPPORT.

3) THEY WILL NOT KEEP THE CHECK IF YOU OWE THEM BACK TAXES

4) IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THE CHECK THE IRS WILL BE ISSUING THEM WITH THE 2020 TAX RETURN NEXT YEAR.

FOR FACTS ON THE COVID-19 STIMULUS PACKAGE PLEASE REFER TO MENU ON LEFT AND CLICK ON HOME THEN THE CATEGORY OF STIMULUS CHECKS, UNEMPLOYMENT OR SBA LOANS

PLEASE ONLY CALL OR EMAIL IF IT'S IN REGARDS TO YOUR TAX RETURN BEING FILED AS WE WILL BE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS IN REGARDS TO THE STIMULUS PROGRAMS INCLUDING STIMULUS CHECKS, UNEMPLOYMENT AND BUSINESS/PAYROLL LOANS!!

IF YOU PREFER NO HUMAN CONTACT WE DO HAVE A DROPBOX OUTSIDE THE OFFICE DOOR AS WELL AS A LOCKED MAILBOX OUTSIDE THE MAIN ENTRANCE....WE JUST ASK THAT YOU NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY SO WE CAN RETRIEVE FILES AS SOON AS DELIVERED.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING AS WE WORK TOGETHER TO GET THROUGH THIS AND PLEASE BE SAFE AND STAY HEALTHY.
